FURCH

4 decades of passion for wood, strings and sound

Founded by Frantisek Furch in the 1980s, Furch Guitars began in socialist Czechoslovakia, where Frantisek, a metalworker and musician, made his first instruments due to a lack of quality guitars. Overcoming political and economic challenges, he created unique, high-quality guitars that gained popularity among musicians.

After the Velvet Revolution in 1989, Furch Guitars flourished, expanding production and introducing innovative designs like solid wood guitars and the Silueton Drive. With continuous development and expansion, Furch became known for its cutting-edge technology, research, and premium instruments.

Today, under the leadership of Frantisek’s son Petr, Furch Guitars produces over 10,000 instruments annually, offering models like the Millennium and Rainbow series. Known for precision craftsmanship, Furch Guitars is celebrated worldwide by musicians like Al di Meola and Suzanne Vega, continuing to lead in both acoustic excellence and technological advancements.
