HK Audio Polar 15 MK2 – Active Column PA System

A complete, self-contained PA system for DJs, bands, performers and demanding event work. At its core is a 15" subwoofer in a generously sized plywood enclosure, delivering powerful, well-defined bass and real low-frequency output down to 35Hz. The column array above it, six 3" neodymium midrange drivers and a 1" tweeter in a low-resonance aluminium profile, gives clear, even reproduction of vocals and instruments across a wide 120° dispersion, so coverage stays consistent across a room rather than dropping off at the edges.

Everything needed for most gigs is built in. The 4-channel mixer takes two mic/line inputs with switchable phantom power, a high-impedance instrument input for guitars, and an aux channel for DJ gear, so there’s no need for an external mixer in most setups. Bluetooth 5.0 handles wireless streaming, and True Wireless Stereo lets two Polar 15 MK2 systems pair for proper stereo sound. A USB-C port on the control panel keeps phones, tablets and wireless mic receivers charged through a set. On the DSP side there’s a 3-band EQ with semi-parametric mids, five storable user presets, and Music/Voice/DJ filter presets for quick sound optimisation on the fly.

The new M20 FlexMount is the standout practical addition over the previous generation: it lets lighting poles and other show accessories mount directly onto the subwoofer, cutting down on extra stands and making load-in and teardown genuinely faster. Transport is handled well too, HK Audio’s MultiGrip handles plus top and bottom grips make the subwoofer easy to lift and carry, and a padded transport cover for the sub and a carry bag for the column elements are both included. A single system is a complete PA on its own, and it scales up with a second unit for stereo, or with a Portable Sub 115A or 118A for extra low-end on bigger dancefloors. Backed by a 5-year warranty on registration.
